Autumn Equinox 2026

Autumn Equinox

Signs of Fall are beginning to whisper through Austin. Even with the heat still hanging in the air, the first leaves have already begun to drift down, and Mother Nature is teasing us with scattered pockets of rain. I’m welcoming the slow shift toward gentler, not‑so‑blazing days.

The Autumn Equinox, arriving on September 22nd, is one of the two sacred points in the year when daylight and darkness share the sky equally. Autumn reminds us how beautiful change can be. As the trees release their leaves, they mirror the cycle we all move through; growth, harvest, release, and rebirth.

For many, this season becomes a time of reflection. Whether you honor Mabon, Día de Muertos, or simply the quiet turning of the wheel, the equinox invites introspection, ceremony, and intention. The seeds we plant now; spiritual, emotional, or practical, will carry us through winter and blossom again in spring.

Wishing you a Healthy and Abundant Autumn Equinox,

Yvette
