The Harvest Moon, the Full Moon nearest to the Autumn Equinox, has long been celebrated for its practical role in agriculture. For several nights, it rises soon after sunset, bathing the landscape in bright moonlight that once helped farmers harvest their summer crops well into the evening. To make the night even more memorable, golden Saturn will shine near the Moon, offering a stunning companion in the sky.

Every Full Moon brings polarity between its moon and sun sign. Full moons bring heightened energy. Just as the moon causes the tides to rise and fall we can also find our emotions experiencing heightened highs or lows. During this time we may discover our feelings are wound up or anxious. We may begin to feel discouraged if our new moon wishes or intentions have not manifested yet. It's important to remember that some manifestations need more time. Libra, the sign of harmony, balance, and relationships, encourages us to seek fairness, restore peace, and release any lingering negativity within our connections. It invites us to let go of old resentments, forgive what no longer serves us, and move forward with grace.

Meanwhile, the Aries Moon ignites a different kind of energy. Bold, passionate, creative, and fiercely independent, Aries reminds us to honor our own needs and desires. This fiery lunar energy inspires courage, self-discovery, and powerful new beginnings.

The symbol of Libra, the balancing scales, serves as a gentle reminder to find harmony between these opposing forces. Balance the needs of the self with the needs of others.
